    The Berkeley teak backless bench range is one of the most versatile and practical in the range. Providing an informal and practical teak bench that can be placed as a memorial bench in a garden, in a hallway indoors with a family inscription, or at a sports club as an easy to use personalisable shoe or boot bench.
     
    The teak bench is made from sustainably sourced Indonesian plantation teak which is FLEGT certified, and crafted using traditional joinery techniques to create a stunning and long lasting backless bench. 
    The solid frame construction of this bench creates a robust and long-lasting frame, and the slight curve in the slats provides a comfortable seating area whether purchased as a memorial bench, celebration bench or sports bench
     
    All benches come with a one year guarantee.
     
    You can choose to receive this bench assembled or unassembled. Simply select the option that you prefer from the drop down menu and assembly instructions are provided in our FAQ or by emailing the team

    Current Order to Delivery Times
    Order to delivery is approximately 20 working days for wood engraved benches, and 10-15 working days for plaque engraved benches (please note final lead-time is subject to customer approval of mock-up as personalisation work is subject to change as bench preparation is only scheduled after approval of mock-up is received). If you have a specific delivery date or timeframe please just let our team know or call to discuss so that we can check the work schedule.

    The Berkeley teak garden bench comes in 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.8m sizes to provide seating for 2, 3 or 4 people. We provide an assembly service under finishing options as well as personalisation options including bench engraving to ensure that your bench is delivered exactly how you want it.

    In 2021/2022 EngravedBench was delighted to have work with Netflix, CALM, and their partners in engraving and delivering 30 teak outdoor benches across the UK as part of the launch of the new series of the Ricky Gervais series, AfterLife and raise awareness of the incredible support provided by CALM to people living alone.

    In 2022 we worked with the Alan Titchmarch 'Love your Garden' team to provide an engraved bench for a garden transformation and to remember the Father who had begun the original garden design.

    Our free mock-up service provides customers with an indicative image of your message on your chosen outdoor bench. The mock up that we provide helps customers when speaking with family, friends and organisations in finalising wording, and if necessary, approvals for the bench installation.
